Disney World day 2

I will get these posts done :) But it is just taking me longer than I had planned :)

Our first actual day at the parks was the day after we arrived. We had already made reservations was back when we first booked the trip for a character breakfast. When we were booking the trip I had asked Jack what kind of breakfast he would like and he decided on having breakfast with the princesses "because Lydia would like that." Seriously, this little guy melts my heart :) So we booked a Princess breakfast in Epcot at the Akershus in Norway. What was really nice were that our reservations were before the park even opened so we were able to doddle and take our time getting to the restaurant.

I dont know who was more excited, Uncle Jason or the kids :)

This was the closest we got to seeing the princesses from Frozen...the line to meet them was almost three hours long!!

Once we got into the restaurant, we walked in right away to meet Belle. Lydia was in awe! She literally just stared at her...I of course was holding it together for the pictures but I was about in tears...My sister Emily walked over to me after that very first meet and greet and told me that she was close to crying too. There is something about the magic at Disney that just makes you emotional. Anyways, we enjoyed our breakfast which included traditional Norwegian food along with "regular" breakfast food. Jack ate his moneys worth of the extremely expensive all you can meal...so, we were happy about that. Lydia has a hard time concentrating on food when there were so many beautiful princesses roaming about--she got to meet Princess Aurora, Ariel and Jasmine. We were all a little disappointed b/c we though either Snow White or Cinderella would be there but they weren't :( Jack was a trooper and took pictures and talked with the Princesses. It was very fun to see them interact with them. Lydia took part in the "princesses procession" walking around the "castle" holding Ariel's hand and waving. Again, another moment of near tears.

This shocked me, but when Lydia was asked who her favorite Princess was it was Jasmine!

Princess Procession

After our breakfast we decided it was time to find a ride. But, as we were making our way to the ride, there was NO line to meet Mickey, Minnie and Goofy so we took advantage of that!

Jack was super pumped to meet Goofy again--he remembered that Goofy is Grandma's Favorite so he had her join him :)

Lydia could have cared less about goofy, in fact, she walked right past him to get to Minnie..no wasting time, she HAD to see her :)

It was awesome--since there were was really no wait we spent lots of time with each character and Minnie danced and was silly with everyone.

Jack wasn't sure where to go..Minnie was being a show off!

After our meet and greet, we headed to the Seas with Nemo and Friends--followed by turtle talk with Crush. Both kids of course loved this ride! After the ride there were lots of animal to check out.

Jack and everyone else went to ride Soarin' a ride that simulates hang gliding over the United States. Since Lydia was too small for that ride, her and I went on a ride called Living the Land...After the other got done, we did the parent swap (an awesome thing that Disney does, if you have a child that is too small to ride, you do the parent swap...so we pretty much switch places and I got to go almost to the beginning of the line..we used this with all of the big ride since three of us got to go again!). Everyone else headed to the Test track ride. Aunt Emily watched Lydia while I rode with Steph and my mom on Soarin'. When we finished I took Lydia and my mom, steph and Emily did test track. Jack loved that ride since it suppose to be like testing out cars for GM..(Ryan wouldn't admit it but he liked it too:)
After everyone was done riding, we decided that we had done everything we wanted to/could do in Epcot so we headed to Disney's Hollywood Studios for the rest of the day.....
