LYDIA IS ONE!

One year ago at 9:22am, Ryan and I were introduced to our beautiful baby girl....I cannot believe how quickly a year can go! Lydia is growing and learning new things each day. We are so lucky to be her parents. Her personality is so sweet. She will crawl up to you just to give you a quick kiss or snuggle. She is super happy (most of the time) and LOVES playing with her big brother. She is not walking yet but is letting go of furniture and standing for long periods of time. She is getting faster cruising the furniture and pushing around toys. She is our little social butterfly--gives most anyone a smile and a wave to say hello or byebye. (but she also checks to make sure mommy or daddy are close) She has quite a few words already--Dada, Mama, num-num, Jack, look, duck, quack-quack, go, no (she has only said this one copying Jack and I hope it stays that way!), byebye, ni-ni (for night night), ball, dog and hi. She is signing more, milk and all done. She can show you her nose and teeth! She loves to brush her hair and pretend to talk on the phone. She is a little peanut, only being in the 30% at her last appt (2 weeks ago for an ear infection). She was slow to get teeth and finally has a bunch coming in now. She has had only four teeth for a really long time! She is a great eater--LOVES avocado and peas. She is now totally on whole milk and hasn't had a bottle for the past three days!!!! (the nuk will be more of a challenge :) So many new things in the past month!
We are just so lucky to have the sweetest, most beautiful girl to love and learn from everyday. Lydia-Happy 1st Birthday! We are SO blessed to be your mommy and daddy!
