8 months old!!!

Our little lady is 8 months old today! I cannot believe it. Ryan and I were just talking about where has time gone?! These last few weeks have been a little trying with her still fighting the bacteria in in urine BUT she is really FINALLY back to her happy self. Her kidney ultrasound looked good so that is something to celebrate. Now we have to go back after this last round of antibiotics to have one more cath and a check of her urine to make sure it is totally gone!
Anyways, enough with that talk......Lydia has become super mobile these past few weeks. She is army crawling like crazy and still getting on her hands and knees rocking. Sometimes she will go forward a little bit but than decides that the army crawl is quicker. She is able to get herself into sitting from lying and can whip around just as fast as Jack did at this age. She is still super smiley and has finally started (last night) babbling a little..we heard our first babas last night! She is still squealing, cooing and easy to get a laugh out of! We are just so lucky to have her in our lives.
Everything else is going good. We still are working on potty training. Jack is down to 0-1 accidents a day. He isn't too good at telling daycare that he has to go but at home there are times he will just walk into the bathroom himself. Ryan and I took Jack to Elmo Live last weekend. Just the three of us! I thought he would be excited about his time alone with mom and dad. I was wrong, he was angry with us that Lydia did not get to come with. Luckily he forgot once we got to the Target center :) That is about it here! We are just waiting to finally get some snow or for spring to arrive!

Jack moved between Ryan and I. He was so in awe of the show in the beginning that he didn't participate with the characters...By the 2nd half he was singing along!
