just for fun

Just because I am a little bored :) Here is a fun little pregnancy survery!

How far along? 24 weeks 5 days
Weight gain/loss: Still down from pre-pregnancy weight--But I am growing like crazy in front! I am working on another almost 10 pounder I think!!
Maternity clothes? Ah, yep. I have a few regular shirts I can wear but I am mostly in maternity clothes! With Jack I was still wearing my old pants!
Stretch marks? Don't want to talk about it! :)
Sleep? What is that? I haven't slept well at all this pregnancy! That was the first sign that I was pregnant!
Best moment this week? Ryan feeling the baby kick! Since my placenta is in the front this is much later than with Jack!
Movement: I am feeling movement on and off all day--The most is right around 10 am and again at night around 9ish
Food cravings: protein! Totally different than with Jack! I craved fruit with him!
Gender: No idea! The ultrasound tech thought she had saw a boy part but than she thought baby was a girl and what she saw before was a foot--so really no idea :) We wont know until he or she arrives!
What I miss? Sleep! I think a beer would taste really good right now too :)
What I am looking forward to? Getting to the third trimester--only 3 weeks to go! I am not looking forward to doing the gestational diabetes screen at my next appt! But at least this time I do not have to do the three hour test!
Weekly wisdom: I need to start getting things ready! With Jack we already had the room ready and the crib set up!
Milestones: pass the 24th week which is when most hospitals will do all life saving measures if the baby is born--BIG milestone to someone who has worked with lots of premature babies!

Another "fun" list--Ryan and I were making a list of all of Jack's words! here they are:

Mama/mommy, Dada
Papa (grandpa), Grandma, Emily (emma), Great Grandma (he said this to my grandma and it just melted my heart)
Adam, Jenna, TJ, Ella, Makenna, Josie and lots more of his daycare friends names!

"beep, beep get out of the way"--he says this when we are in the car on the highway and there are lots of other cars on the road
"I wanna watch Elmo!" ( not really my favorite but one we hear alot)
"love you"(Ahh-you)
"what daddy doing" (usually he answers himself and says shoveling--hehe)

I am sure we missed some but as you can see he has really taken off with his vocabulary! It is so fun to hear a new word everyday!
