Jack's First Thanksgiving and 1st Christmas tree

We have a busy but very fun-filled last week! Jack celebrated his first thanksgiving! It was so much fun. We went to my aunt and uncles for the day and Jack was definitely loved--I don't think Ryan and held him too much! It was fun to be with family and friends over the weekend.
On Sunday we decided we should go and get our Christmas tree! Since I like artificial trees and Ryan prefers real ones, we rotate years so this year it was Ryan's turn for a real tree. We bundled up Jack and went on the hunt for the perfect tree! I LOVE having a very tall tree so we found one that was perfect! We went home with Jack's first tree and were SO excited to decorate and bring the tree in the house. Well, the tree was a little TOO tall! Ryan went out to cut the tree down and carry it in while I was in the house with Jack. Jack decided that it would be the perfect time to fill his pants--UP TO HIS HEAD!! So there I am, changing a extremely poopy diaper and I hear Ryan carrying in the tree.....Ryan is yelling for help because apparently he did not cut off the tree enough, so he cannot stand it up in the house! What a mess! I finally got Jack all cleaned up and put him on the floor so I could help Ryan. We decided that the best thing to do was just cut the tree in the house! So Ryan brought in the chainsaw and jack and I went to one of the bedrooms while Ryan worked! We were laughing so HARD so Jack joined in and was giggling too! All in all it was a good memory for us to have. I wrote it in Jack's baby book so he will be able to read it someday! Here are some pictures of the last week or so!
