Happy 5 Months old!!

I cannot believe where the time has gone but Jack is already 5 months old! I have already been back at work for 2 months! That is just plain crazy! Jack has again learned something new! He has figured out the art of pounding on his highchair tray! It was pretty cute when he first figured it out but now, if we do not get him his rice cereal or oatmeal quick enough, he lets us know! When I tried oatmeal for the first time this past Sunday it was obvious that he likes it much more then rice cereal. He was opening his mouth wide open and kept saying MMMMM--like yummy, get it in my mouth NOW! By the time we were done, he ate three times as much oatmeal then he usually eats of the rice cereal! Funny little boy :)
Other things that have been happening are 1.) After our dogs completely ruined a package from Ryan's mom that had a homemade stocking in it and other fun Christmas stuff for Jack, they have been on my--Don't even look at me list!! 2.) Jack had his first fun go around of throwing up--that was interesting. I think that it was some bad formula because it only lasted through the evening and by morning he was eating oatmeal :) He did get to snuggle with mom most of the night since dad was gone hunting (this was going on when I found the shredded package in the yard--all in all it was NOT a good night) 3.) Jack will sit and play with no support for 10-15mins before he gets tired and falls, pretty good for his age 4.) Jack got to experience his first winter storm in MN and mom got to experience driving with a very un-happy to be bundled up baby in a snow storm. We made it to daycare with no problems--now just three more months of winter to go! 5.) Ryan FINALLY got a deer, no more weekends away hunting--YAY!
