The Roberts Family: Easter Weekend

Well, we had a pretty busy weekend this weekend. On Sat morning we headed up to my parents house for Easter! I LOVE Easter, it is my favorite holiday so I was looking forward to being with family and friends. On Sat afternoon, I had lunch with Amanda and Mya-that was fun but of course not enough time but at least we got to see each other! Ryan and I spent the rest of the day visiting with my grandma and then we went out with my sister and brother and a few cousins to the Flensburg bar for a few drinks and some pool. It was all in all a good, relaxing day!

On Easter, we got up pretty early to take our turns in the shower. If you have never been to my parents, you don't know that they only have one bathroom! Since there were 10 of us that needed to get ready before church at 830, Ryan and I decided we would get up early and get out of the way! We all headed to church and then came home to find that the Easter bunny had come to visit while we were gone. It was so fun to see our nephews running around the yard looking for their baskets and other goodies the bunny left them! The bunny didn't forget us grown-up kids and the baby either! I guess you are never to old for the Easter bunny :) After that, Ryan and I picked up my grandma and we headed to my aunt and uncles for Easter with the extended family. It was so nice to see everyone! The food was fantastic as usual and the company was great. It was good to have nice weather and everyone was able to get out and "play." At one point there was a pretty serious baseball game going on! I just enjoyed watching!

This week Ryan and I are going to be busy. Ryan starts softball tomorrow! He cannot wait :) Then on Wed we have our first night of Child Birth Classes! That should be interesting! Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend!
