Hi Everyone! Ryan and I had a extremely busy but productive weekend! On Friday night we went to have dinner with some friends but we were about 40 mins late due to one of our lovely dogs....Ryan was outside with the dogs and turned his back for about 2 seconds and Duke was gone. By the time I got home from work, Ryan had been yelling/searching for Duke for almost an hour. We both yelled and drove around the neighborhood looking for that stupid dog. Finally we decided that we would just leave and if he came home, he came home. Well, we were about a 1/2 mile from home and I spotted Duke in a ditch--Ryan slammed on the brakes and lets just say Duke was in a bit of trouble!! We just don't know what to do with him, we get one problem fixed and then he is naughty in a different way! Duke was not happy with his new set- up for when he is out of the kennel---he is either A.) Tied up or B.) locked on the deck--to bad for him I guess!
On Saturday Ryan and I started early painting the baby's room! It is all finished! We still have trim to put up but the painting is all done! We got the room cleaned and I dusted the blinds, ect. That afternoon Ryan went fishing and I met my sister at target to register for baby stuff. It was really fun to think that in a short while we will actually be using all the baby items :) Ryan was very relieved that he didn't have to go through registering again, for some reason he really hates it! He of course wanted to know what I registered for and so on--so I had to go over the whole thing with him when I got home!
Sunday was our busiest day yet! A while ago, Ryan and I had picked out a new door to replace the deck door. Since it was in the 50s yesterday, Ryan decided that it would be a good time to put the door in! I think it was a bigger project then he was expecting. The people the owned the house before us really did things sloppy and not very well so it made the project a pain in the butt! Ryan of course did I great job! I love the new door and how it totally changes the look of the room!! I kept myself busy helping Ryan when needed and going through clothes of mine to give to goodwill--I ended up with three bags of clothes and a bag of shoes! I think I might need to go shopping to replace my wardrobe :)
We have a pretty busy week this week. I will be gone at a conference for 2 days and then a meeting on Thursday so Ryan and I wont be seeing much of each other. I was planning on posting pictures today of all our projects but I forgot the camera of course--hopefully I can get some on here later in the week!
