Hi Everyone! I am super excited today because my OB told me last night that I can start being seen as a "normal" patient! FINALLY! I dont really know how long this is going to last but I was jumping up and down with joy last night! My appointment with her went well. I had labs drawn before the appointment and everything looks really good. I measured (my "baby belly") closer to 16 weeks instead of 17 but that is still perfect! My doctor is very happy with how everything is going and that the baby is handling everything so well. So, I will only be seeing her monthly from now on! (unless anything changes) I have one more trip to Cambridge Medical Center next week for some lab work but then I won't have to return until Mid February!!!
Yesterday something else exciting happened--I felt the baby move for the 1st time!! I was sitting at work and all of a suddened felt like there was a bag of popcorn popping in my stomach. It happened again a few minutes later but then nothing the rest of the night! I wasn't to sure what I was feeling so I asked some friends who have had babies before and they confirmed that I was probably feeling the baby! This morning I felt the "popping" again so I am more sure it is really the baby! Last night my OB said that the baby is very active in there. Everytime she would find him/her, they would move away! It is so fun to finally have that reassurance that there really is a baby in there. I cannot wait for Ryan to be able to feel the baby move around and kick him :) Just a few more weeks! I am hoping to add a bunch of pictures from the past few weeks later today! Hope it works!
Yea! So glad to hear the good news from your doctor visits!
