Fall activities

We have been busy outside enjoying the fall weather! Two weekends ago we packed up the bikes and drove to Elm Creek in Maple Grove. We spent the day biking, playing on the awesome playground there and had a picinic.

See who is following her big brother........
The kids went to my sister's this past weekend! Her and her husband generously offered to watch the kids for two nights so Ryan and I could celebrate our 5th wedding Anniversary!! We went to a Twins game, spent all day Saturday on the motorcycle and went out to eat for almost every meal.....all things that you cant always do with a 3 and 1 yr old. We picked the kids up on Sunday afternoon. They were happy to see us but I dont think they really missed us too much :)
Lydia happy to go to daycare on Monday morning!

Jack was too--He looks way to grown up in this picture!
Jack started soccer tonight. It is through community ed and for 2-3 yr olds...so he is about right in the middle of the age group. It is just a short, 3 week, one time a week program but he is SUPER excited about it. He did pretty well tonight. As they were wrapping up he asked in we could leave because he was cold. (it was in the mid 50s) But he is happy that his friend Josie from daycare was there too and is looking forward to next week.
Jack followed directions very well. It was fun for us because we have never seen Jack in a setting like that. They do circle time and stuff at daycare but we dont see that!

Makenna (Josie's sister/friend from daycare) and Lydia
Josie was very concerned that Makenna got the play with Lydia while she had to play soccer....Apparently Lydia is very loved at daycare

Jack got "trapping" the ball pretty quickly

We have another book reader on our hands
