Man there is alot to write about again! Jack continues to change! He is such a happy baby and so fun to see him change from day to day. He is smiling and cooing more but it is still hard to catch the smiles with the camera. Usually he is happiest in the morning after eating and then again in the late afternoon/early evening. That is when we really can get the most smiles out of him. Somedays, likes yesterday, he is just too busy looking around at everything to concentrate enough to smile at you! He is also noticing everything around him. After his bath I usually put him in his crib with his mobile on while I clean things up. He never really cared to much about the mobile until this last Tuesday....I heard the mobile stop playing music and immediately the little stinker started screaming so I went back in his room and re-started the mobile and he stopped screaming! Now when he is in there and the mobile is going, you can hear him cooing/talking to it! It is so darn cute! I have a few pictures of him enjoying his mobile that I will add on here. Another big change this past week is that Jack has started sleeping through the night! Just this last wed night I put Jack to sleep at 1030 and he didnt get up until 530! His bedtime the past week has been right about 1030 and he is sleeping about 7 hours every night and then waking up to eat for an hour then he goes right back to sleep for about 2 more hours! It is so nice for Ryan and I! I know we are so lucky to have such a great baby :)
I have to tell you about what my wonderful husband did for my birthday this weekend! I have been pretty annoyed with the fact that Ryan, Jack and I havent had a weekend alone since bring Jack home. We have been so busy and it is just going to get worse so I was pretty mad that the weekend we finally didnt have plans was the weekend that his end of the year softball tournament landed on!! Plus it was my birthday Sat! On Friday night Ryan informed me that we would be going out for pizza with our friends Jayd and Kari and their two boys before softball. So I got everything packed up for Jack and we headed to meet them. Well, Ryan had other plans. He gave me my birthday card which informed me that we were NOT going to softball and we were leaving Jack with our friends because we had dinner reservations for my birthday! Turns out he had this planned for a while! So we left Jack and Ryan took me to the Melting Pot in downtown Minneapolis! It was so much fun! I defiantly have the best husband EVER! He is so sneaky sometimes :) then to top off the evening, Jack slept from 1030 to 8 the next morning! What a birthday :) Well, thats enough for now! Here are a few new pictures of our little guy!
