Disney Day 3-Magic Kingdom

Our third day of vacation we made our way to Magic Kingdom. This park is the park for the little kids--we took the ferry boat over to the park as the monorail was down. Jack and Lydia were so very excited about all of the rides they were going to ride that day. Lydia was determined to make her way to the carousel and Jack wanted to ride a roller coaster! We went into the park and quickly made our way to Fantasyland and the new Fantasyland. We rode the Little Mermaid ride, did an interactive show called Enchanted tales with Belle where Jack played Chip, Lydia was a plate and Grandma was the wardrobe from the movie, we made our way to the Horsies, watched a show called Mickey's Philharmagic, rode its a small world and Peter Pan's flight all before lunch!
This was from our trip almost 2 years ago....

If you cant tell, it was a little chilly this morning!

This peanut was in HEAVEN

Its a small world

We had lunch at pinocchio's village haus where we had pizza and quicky went right back to our fun. After lunch we had a meeting with Tigger and Pooh. Now this one was AWESOME. Even though Jack remembered meeting them the time before, he was all about it this time. Tigger and Pooh got HUGE hugs from both of our kids and if the person working with them wouldnt have told Jack and Lydia they needed to leave, they would have never let go!

Sisters!

Waiting in line to ride the Winnie the Pooh ride, So many fun things to play with made the line move much quicker.

After the pooh ride we rode the Haunted Mansion and the tea cups. After those rides, we made out way to the Train to get over to frontierland for our next fast pass ride.

Auntie Stephanie had bought an ice cream treat--guess who she had to share with :)

There was a parade that we stopped and watched on the way. We got to dance with the characters and have a good time!

Jack and I on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad--Jack LOVED it!

Sometimes you even need a timeout at Disney world--the one and only time out she got on the trip.

We spent the rest of the day walking around and headed to save seats early for the Main Street Electrical parade and the fireworks for that night.

These pictures above might give a little bit of an idea of how much Lydia was waving and saying hello to every character in the parade! She was a riot....waving like a mad women trying to get each character to wave right at her. I would say she was pretty successful in getting the attention of all of the characters in the parade to come up to her and say hi. She LOVED it. Jack of course liked the parade too but was more content to sit with each of his family members drinking hot chocolate, quietly taking everything in. I think what I liked the most about this trip was it really let me see each of our kids different personalities shine through, Lydia was the more outgoing, waving at everyone personality and Jack typically just took everything in at the parks. There were a few moments where he got into things but that you will see in my next post about our day at Animal Kingdom :)
