Day 4

Our 4^th (technically 5^th day, since I am not counting our travel day) day in Florida was a “rest” day. We only had 4 day passes to Disney and figured that Saturday would be the best day to skip the parks. My parents and Stephanie had decided to head to Sea World for the day so we ended up going to the Downtown Disney shopping area. It was Car Master’s weekend at Downtown Disney so there was a fun car show and a chance to meet Tow Mater, Finn McMissle and Lightening McQueen—all characters from the Cars 2 movie. Which, by the way, Jack has decided that will be the theme of his 3^rd birthday. Anyways, we walked around, checked out some of the cool cars and I spent an HOUR waiting in line for Jack to meet his favorite Cars Characters. Jack wasn’t too sure what to think about these guys. Of course they didn’t “talk” like the movie since they are real cars but they would make starting sounds and rev up their engines every so often. I know he enjoyed it b/c we had to hold him back to wait his turn to meet Lightening McQueen.

After meeting the Cars, we spent some time walking around. It was again, really, really HOT so we didn’t last too long.  We ended our time at Downtown Disney with lunch at Planet Hollywood. We headed back to the resort, the kids took a nap and Ryan and I also rested. The rest of the afternoon was spent down at the pool area. We made dinner at the resort that night, took baths and the kids were in bed at a normal bedtime to be ready for our last day at Disney……
