Fall is here!

I love fall! I just wish that it didn't lead right into winter :) We have been busy enjoying the beautiful fall weather we have been having. Jack of course loves being outside and Lydia is taking after him. Yesterday we spent the day at Emma Krumbee's Apple Orchard and Pumpkin Patch! The kids were both so good and Jack was so well behaved. My parents even drove down to surprise us--Jack was in the middle of playing on a slide when Grandma and Papa walked up! He was so excited he didn't know what to do with himself. Lydia was her happy, smiley, talkative self :) So it was a great day.

The kids are both growing and learning new things everyday. Jack has more words in his vocabulary than I can even count! He is counting to the number 12 with no help and starting to say his ABCs, he even recognizes certain letters. I didn't know he could do this and one day he was looking at my shirt and said, "Mama, that's an S!" Lydia is rolling over here and there, she is blowing bubbles and is cooing/talking ALL THE TIME! She wakes up just as happy as can be talking in her crib. She just loves the sound of her voice. She has also discovered her feet which is good for hours of playtime during the day. Jack is good to her most of the time. He mainly forgets that she is a baby and cannot wrestle around like him. Tomorrow is Lydia's 4 month well child check.....I'm interested to see how big she has gotten! Here are some recent pictures of the kiddos :)
