My funny guy

I cannot believe that April 1st is just 4 short days away!! Time is really flying! These past few weeks I spent 6 out of 10 work days at a training and two of those days were all day testing!!! Yuck! I didn't think sitting through training would be too bad but apparently I was WRONG--I was so uncomfortable a few of the days but it was worth getting it done with before maternity leave and not after! Now I have to make it though 4 more days in May--what was I thinking?!?! Things with baby #2 are going well. I am already to every 2 week appointments vs monthly appts and I only have two of those left before I start my weekly OB appointments! I am only measuring 2 weeks ahead. If you remember with Jack I measured at least 3-4 weeks ahead most of the time. We are spending out weekends preparing for baby. LOTS of organizing and getting rid of stuff we really don't need. I am feeling a little less overwhelmed now that we have had the time to really get out house into shape for a family of 4!
Jack is of course doing well. We did take him in to the doctor last week because I was sure he had an ear infection. Guess what, he DIDN'T! He had all the symptoms and if I had my own otoscope I would have looked in his ears myself but I am not spending the thousands of dollars on one :) I think he is actually getting his two year molars as he has the runny nose and icky diaper rash he usually gets with teething. Hopefully that's it and no more ear infections or we are looking at getting tubes! I feel like once spring is really here, he will finally be rid of those stinky things :) Jack has a whole bunch of new words--pillow, doctor, medicine (for his vitamin), thumb, blueberry, uppa (for up), down and the list goes on. BUT my favorite is he has been tattling on Ryan! Ryan would tell him NO about somethings and Jack would come up to me and say, "Mama, dada say NO!" or Ryan took him down from something and Jack would say "MAMA-dada DOWN!!" and my favorite from this weekend was when Jack walked up to me and said, "Mama, Dada punch me!!" Obviously Ryan did not punch Jack :) I am pretty sure Ryan told him No about having a cookie. Gotta love daycare because I am sure that is where he picked that up! :)
