Jack continues to amaze us with all of his new tricks! His favorite thing to do right now is push the kitchen chairs all over the place to get what he wants. I am not a fan of this but it is really fun watching him problem solve! Last night Ryan and I were making supper and we turned to see that Jack had gotten into a chocolate covered cherry! He just had this huge smile on his face, he was so proud! This past week he has perfected the words car, truck, tree and ELMO! I have really no idea where Elmo came from since I think he has watched the show once but it is pretty cute hearing him walk around the house saying elmo :) I also think I have caught him calling me Laura a few times! Funny what he picks up on! Jack also loves to have Ryan and I join him under the kitchen table. He will call for us and wave us over to get under the table. I am sure if someone could see in our house we would all look pretty funny scrunched up under the table! hehe I am a little concerned about how Jack is going to handle a new baby--this past weekend my friend and her little boy, Matthew came over. Jack was not a fan of sharing--he would tell Matthew "NO" about every toy that he went for. I know it is a typical toddler thing but Jack might be in for a rude awakening when baby 2 arrives!!!
Speaking of baby 2, we had our 20 week ultrasound on Jan 6th. Everything looks perfect! The baby was the complete opposite of Jack at the ultrasound. Jack was all over the place the entire time and not shy about letting us know he was a boy. This baby was sleeping the entire time and barely moved! A little hand movement here and there but that was it! Also, Ryan decided he needed to know the sex of the baby. Well, the baby had other plans....the ultrasound tech said she had thought she saw a little boy part during scanning but the baby was breech and sitting on his/her feet at that time. When she did scan to check gender, she couldn't find any boy parts so she was thinking girl!! SO, we really have no clue! This baby is going to be a surprise :) (which is what I wanted!) here is a profile picture of our new little one.....
