busy

Man, it seems like we have just been super busy but with what, I don't know! I guess just the summer is always full of activities! Last weekend we went to my parents for the weekend so that was nice. Jack sure loves his Grandpa Gardner! He wouldn't even come back to me when it was time to go! We went to a church bazaar that I have been going to since I was only a few weeks old! In the past 29 years, I have only missed 2 years...pretty good! Now Jack has gone his first two years of life! Hopefully we can continue this family tradition! Jack LOVED the 'train' and Grandpa bought him a whole roll of tickets so he got to ride on it all day :)
This past weekend was very busy. Friday night we had friends over and Jack got to play with his friend Matthew! It was neat to see them start to interact with each other more and more. We have come a long way from their first playdate together when Jack was 10 weeks old and Matthew was just a week! This was the first time they seemed more interested in each other! On Sat Jack I spent the entire day shopping. He is SO good when we take him anywhere--I just love that he likes to be out and about! Even though he was really tired he let me finish all of the shopping for the day! Then, on Sunday, we headed to the Minnesota Renaissance Festival with Emily, Jason and Stephanie! What a fun place! Jack again was SO GOOD! He enjoyed watching all of the people dressed up and all of the entertainment around him. He even got to have a little ice cream since it was so hot. Lucky boy!
I cannot believe that summer is winding down so quickly! Jack has grown so much and learned so much this summer. I cannot keep up sometimes with the new tricks and words he is learning! Someday I am going to make a list of the words he is using! my new favorite word this week is OK--it is probably the cutest thing I have ever heard. I will tell him it is bath time and he was say, OK and run to the tub! How cute is that? :)

You know it was a good day if you come home with a dirty face :)
