Jack's first Vacation!

Sorry it has been a while again! Life seems to just be flying by! In two short months our little guy is going to be a year old! I just cannot even believe that!
Anyways, since my last update, Ryan and I took Jack on his first vacation. We went to Texas for a week to visit Ryan's mom and Jim. Jack did so well on the plane on the way there. We planned it so we flew around his bedtime which worked out really well. Our week in Texas was lots of fun and relaxing. Jack loved spending time with his Grandma Becky and Grandpa Jim! Ryan and I were able to get away for a day/night so that was really nice too!! Jack proved that he is more like Ryan everyday. He LOVED swimming. I like to swim but not as much as Ryan does! Jack would splash and play--he didn't even mind if his head went under! what a little stinker! He also went on his first trip to a zoo while we were there! What a lucky little guy! The flight home did not go quite as well as the one out there. We were delayed an hour getting on the plane and since there was some bad weather they had to fly around it. Needless to say, Jack was getting a little fussy the last 45 mins of the flight! Luckily no one around us seemed to mind!

Since getting back we have been busy with work and catching up on stuff around the house. Ryan's work decided to change their schedules, AGAIN! So we are getting used to the new hours and how it changes everything at home. He will now be working every other weekend, 12 hours shifts and 12 hours shifts during the week. This has really screwed up our daycare schedule since Jack has been going M-F, full time. We have decided to go to 4 days a week at this point. If we were to go down to the 3 days a week we need, she will not hold our full time spot. This way in case Ryan finds a different job or the hours change back to M-F, we will still have daycare! Oh the joys......

Jack has become more and more busy everyday. He is cruising furniture and pushing toys around. I don't think it will be too long and he will be walking! YIKES! He understand the word, 'No' but I think he sees it more as a challenge! Once he is told 'No' about something, he thinks he needs whatever that object may be!! We have officially decided that his first work is 'Dada.' The other day Ryan was out mowing the lawn so I took Jack out on the deck to see him. He waved at Ryan and we went back in the house. Jack then proceeded to stand at the deck door looking out the window saying, "DADA,DADA!" I had to go back outside so he could wave at him! Took cute :)
Well, enough for now! Here are some new pictures!
