This past Saturday was Jack's 6 month birthday! Ryan and I both cannot believe how fast the time has gone! It seems like just yesterday we found out we were expecting!
Jack continues to learn lots of new things! He was been sitting up on his own since around Thanksgiving time but he has really perfected it. He rarely falls over and if he does, it is usually because he was trying to get something out of his reach. Jack is able to pivot himself around and lean for items around himself. I don't think it is going to be too long and we may have a crawler on our hands! Numerous times Ryan and I have caught him going from his sitting position to a hands and knees position!! Stinker! He is also becoming more and more vocal saying "babababa" and "mamama" so stinking cute :) He LOVES food too! We started baby foods right before Christmas and boy does he LOVE to eat. There is nothing that he has spit out or seemed to dislike! He does let us know when he really likes something by saying mmmmmm after every bite :) So far his list of food he likes/eats are oatmeal (he loves this one), rice cereal, sweet potatoes(another favorite), carrots, squash, peas, bananas and applesauce! I think that he would totally give up formula and eat "big boy" foods if we would let him :) Right now he only gets oatmeal and a fruit for breakfast and then some rice cereal and a veggie for dinner--he makes sure to eat every last drop!
