tough week

Hi Everyone-
Well, this week was a bit tougher then I expected....On wed Ryan called me at work to tell me that he had just been laid off. It was really a shock to both of us as Ryan has been working overtime the last few weeks and he was just 2 weeks short of being with the company for 9 years! It is a bit stressful trying to figure everything out with a baby coming very soon but we will manage :) Ryan qualifies for unemployment and all that stuff so it really isn't as bad as we thought at first! I just feel bad for Ryan--yesterday was his first day home and he was already bored! Hopefully he can find things to keep him busy while he looks for a new job!
Other then the bad news on Wed the week went OK....we were just busy trying to figure out everything and we still had our other activities/meetings to go to. I think we are both really looking forward to a weekend with family and friends! I know that I am getting very excited to see everyone tomorrow at the baby shower! I think it really is going to be a great time! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend--see some of you tomorrow!
