Hi Everyone! It has already been over a week since my last update! Really there hasn't been anything too exciting going on but I figured it was time for an update!
Last week Ryan spent everyday all day down at Valleyfair doing some fencing work. He was leaving at 7 in the morning and not getting home until 10pm! He pretty much spent the week eating, working and sleeping! I was able to keep my self busy with little projects around the house when he was busy working. I spent all Thursday night planting flowers! It sure takes a little bit longer to do things these days :)
This past weekend we made a quick overnight trip to Ryan's grandmas. Ryan and some friends needed to get venison sausage made so he spent the day doing that. I tried to help but for some odd reason the sight and smell of raw meat was really getting to me! I spent most of the time far away from the smell :) I also was pretty uncomfortable all day long. I kept having LOTS of braxton-hicks contractions and honestly thought that this baby was going to make an early appearance! I downed a few bottles of water and went to bed early that night. That seemed to help....Sunday morning I had a few more contractions but nothing like the day before! We headed home on Sunday afternoon and spent the rest of the day working in the yard. Ryan and I planted the garden that night which took us a few hours but I am glad that it is all done! I am looking forward to having all of the yummy veggies that we had last year! Hopefully everything grows!
Baby news-Other then Saturdays little episodes things have been going good! Last week the baby really dropped!! I think that it happened sometime when I was sleeping but it seems like everyday he is lower. Maybe all of the squatting from gardening/planting flowers worked out in my favor! Anyways, For those of you that haven't seen me, I was seriously carrying this baby SUPER high. He was living right under my chest. Now is looks like he may fall out any minute ;) It is a bit more comfortable as I was really having a hard time breathing, now I just have to use the bathroom every hour!! At least I know that he is slowly preparing to actually come out of there! I just hope it isn't for at least 3 more weeks!! That puts me at 37 weeks and 4 days which is pretty close to full term (the end of 37 weeks is full term.) We will see. Almost everyone I know thinks that he is going to have a June birthday--we will see what happens!
That's about it for now! Hope you all had a wonderful memorial day weekend!
