Hey Everyone! Ryan and I figured that with so many family and friends living all over the world, this would be a good way to update everyone! For those of you that have been hiding under a rock and haven't talked to us in a very long time, Ryan and I are expecting our 1st baby! Due to make an arrival on July 4th, 2009! This has been a very happy experience but also a very stressful and frustrating time due to my (Laura) diagnosis of Grave's disease/hyperthyriodism. From being a healthy 27 year old to all of a sudden finding out your pregnant and then finding out I had graves has been tough with alot of challenges-making this a "very, very, high-risk" pregnancy. But, Ryan and I have been taking things in stride and I have to say that he has handled everything very well!
So, we thought that this blog would make it easier from friends/family to be updated on the progress of the pregnancy and all the other fun stuff that comes along with it! Also, since I am getting sick of calling 20 people after my appointments, no offense, I thought this would be a good way to make the list shorter! So, this is a warning, there my be some medical stuff most of you aren't interested in but there are a few who I know love to hear about medication and such...aka, my nurse friends :) but I will warn you before I post about stuff like that! Hopefully it will mostly be fun stuff!!
YAY! I am very excited for you of course, but I am even more excited I have another thing to read while at work (you know how bored I get) HAHA!!! Congrats....again!!!!! Love you guys!

Hi Laura and Ryan,
ReplyDeleteSo happy to hear about the little one on the way but sorry to hear about the complications that are accompanying it for Laura. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for the "3" of you. A July 4th baby, huh?? What a great miracle baby this will be. Can't wait to hear more updates. Love ya both!!!
