So behind

Hello everyone! I have really been falling behind on the blog! Things in our house have been super hectic recently! I don't know if it is the holidays or just the fact that we have an extremely busy toddler!
As usual Jack has been keep us on our toes--He is such a busy boy but SO MUCH FUN! He had what I would call a word explosion just recently--some words he can say are: ball, barn, hay, byebye, hi, ni-night, hot, tractor, baaa (for sheep), mooo (for cow), dog, bread, bark, boots, granola bar (come our gbar), milk (ma), apple, diaper (per), yuck, whoa, wow, no-no, ya, num-num, book, grandpa (pa or papa) and Grandma--the list goes on! It is SO fun to hear all of these words. He of course isn't saying them perfectly but you can tell what he is saying! He still is signing some words--please, more, milk and cookie are the ones he uses the most. He also knows where his belly, knees, toes, eyes, teeth, ears and hair are! I just cannot believe how quickly he picks up on things! This weekend I said "shhh, the babies are ni-night" and last night when Ryan laid his head down Jack covered him up and said "shhh, ni-night!" SO funny how he is like a sponge!!
This Thanksgiving was lots of fun. We spent the weekend up at my parents. Jack is literally OBSESSED with my dad. He needed to know where pa/papa was at all times. My dad and brother in law were nice enough to watch Jack so my sisters, my mom and I could do some black Friday shopping :) It was a blast to spend time just us girls! Plus, we got some really good deals! Jack also got to have his first Christmas cookie EVER this weekend. We went to visit my grandma and she had already made some sugar cookies. I gave Jack one and before he swallowed the last bite he was signing cookie again! Since he was so cute we gave in gave him one more :) I have a feeling I am going to have to hide the cookies this year!
If you haven't heard the news, we are adding to our family! Jack is going to be a big brother at the end of May! I don't know if we are crazy or what but my siblings and I are all 2 years or less apart (well, with the exception of Stephanie :) and I LOVED that age difference growing up so we were going for another July baby. God had different plans and now Jack and his sister or brother will be about 23 months apart!! We will be busy but we are SO looking forward to another addition to our family! We are truly blessed!
