The Roberts Family: relaxing weekend

This weekend was so nice and relaxing....well, except for the fact that I spend most of my time chasing after a VERY busy 10 (almost 11) month old! On Friday night, Jack and I just hung out at home. Ryan was at work so we just went grocery shopping and then came home and spent the night playing and reading books. On Sat I wanted to get the house cleaning done but since Jack decided to skip his nap, that did not happen!! On Sat afternoon, I went out to have a few drinks and dinner with some friends, without kids!! This was the first time since having Jack that I did not bring him with--can you believe that!? It was nice to spend time with friends and not have to worry about what Jack was getting into! Since Ryan was at work, Jack got to have his first, non-family babysitter! When Brittany first got to our house, Jack was excited to see her but not to sure why she was at our house! (she volunteers at his daycare) He would not let me put him down but I finally got him playing with some books with Brittany and snuck out! I guess when Ryan got home from work it was a different story--he wanted to leave with Brittany! Silly boy! On Sunday, Jack and I headed up to my parents for the day. We spent a few hours with my grandma. She had fallen 2 weeks ago and she is slowly on the mend but using a walker as needed--Jack thought that the walker was the coolest toy, EVER! He was pretty funny with it :)
Other then having a nice weekend, the only 'news' I have about Jack is that we are down to only 2 bottles a day!! Oh, and he is walking more and more :) What a big boy! Here are a few pictures from our weekend.
