RSV and closer to crawling!

Hi Everyone!
Things have again been busy around our house. Jack is doing well. He started with some cold symptoms last Friday and on Tuesday after having daycare call me twice because he has some temps, I decided we should bring him in. I really didn't think he needed to be brought in because I suspected it was either just a cold or maybe RSV but since the daycare was so concerned about his fevers (the highest it got was 101), we went in. I was right and it was nothing that needed a doctors appointment! He did test positive for RSV so we are just treating him the same as we were before the appointment. Kind of a waste of time but I was able to tell daycare that it wasn't anything bacterial! He is feeling better already-no fevers since Tuesday afternoon and just a little cough/runny nose now. His appetite is coming back and he is back to his playful self :) Now if we could just get him back into a good bedtime routine things will be back to normal! Other then the RSV, Jack has been really happy and playful. He is starting to be able to get where he wants by scooting or rotating around on his tummy. He is trying so hard to work on crawling but our flooring in the upstairs of our house makes it a little more challenging since there isn't any carpet! He will get up on his hands and knees and then his little knees will just slip out from underneath him. He does much better downstairs--he is able to get up on his hands and knees and will rock back and forth until he eventually just lunges for the toy he is going for--it is pretty funny! I am afraid it wont be too long and he is going to be into EVERYTHING!
Everything else is going ok. Ryan is just as busy at work--he is putting in lots of overtime but it sounds like things MIGHT get better into March sometime so that will be good. He is leaving this Sunday morning for a 4 day snowmobiling trip with friends. I know he is ready to get away from work for a while but it will be interesting to see how he does with being away from Jack! Things for me are OK. I have been having problems with my wonderful thyroid this past month. I was so excited because after my radioactive iodine I started feeling normal again around Thanksgiving--that was short lived because by Christmas time I was super tired and feeling just not right. I started gaining crazy amounts of weight even without a change in diet and with regular working out, I gained a little over 20 pounds in three weeks time. Needless to say, my thyroid went to hypothyroid so now I am taking medication for that. It was to be expected but I didn't really think it would happen that quickly. The bummer of the whole situation is that the meds take awhile to work so I will just keep gaining weight no matter how little I eat! Seriously, who knew such a little gland could do SO much to your body!! Well, that's it for now here are some pictures of our cute little guy--Enjoy :)
