Happy late Birthday Ryan!

So, I had every intention to get on here on Ryan's birthday and write a little happy birthday message but I ran out of time this weekend! So it is a few days late but Happy Birthday :) This weekend really flew by as usual. On Friday night Ryan and I were both asleep before 10! I guess we are trying to get well rested before the baby comes ;) Well, we both woke up to the dogs going crazy outside--barking and running around in the kennel. We heard some tires squealing and figure it was the neighbors so we went back to bed. Five minutes later our house phone was ringing and our neighbors were calling to tell us that some idiot was stuck up on the "rocks" in our driveway! Well, Ryan went storming out the front door--I was yelling at him to calm down because you never know who it could be! I was right-it was one of Ryan's friends a day early for the bonfire we were having! (and a bit under the influence-which I was not too happy about) It took Ryan and him a good hour to get his vehicle unstuck and then we all sat around and talked for another hour and sent him on his way. So that was our exciting Friday!
On Sat Ryan and I spent the day cleaning and organizing things--again! Ryan keeps telling me that I am so "nest-y!" I might be a bit but it is nice to have the house all cleaned and organized. We also went to Target and bought the mattress for the crib. Once we got home we put all the bedding on the crib! The room is getting closer and closer to being done. I promise when it is finished we will post pictures. That night we celebrated Ryan's birthday with some friends. It was nice to have a laid back BBQ and bonfire.
On Sunday we kind of took the day easy. My allergies are out of control so I am a bit miserable :( There are a few meds I can take but don't want to unless I absolutely need them. So, since Ryan wasn't feeling 100% either, we just watched movies and made supper at home!
This morning I went back to Children's for my first shift--it was just class work type stuff but I was pretty nervous. I hope everyone is right when they tell me it is just like riding a bike, you never really forget! The next couple weeks will be busy with me working quite a few shifts at children's and at public health-throw in a few doctors appointments, childbirth class and softball and we may never be home!
