Last appointment

Ryan and I went to my last appointment on Tuesday night. Everything with the baby is looking perfect but not so much with me! I finally got put on a blood pressure medication. My OB promises me that the high blood pressure is nothing but my thyroid causing my body to be so "wired"-hopefully this is it for medications. We heard the baby's heartbeat again which is always reassuring and makes me cry everytime...Ryan just smiles from ear to ear. The heartbeats have been 134, 155 and 146. We could also hear the baby "swimming" and moving all over the place. He/she likes to play tag with the doctor :)
Ryan and I both have our opinions about whether the baby is a girl or a boy-IM thinking boy. I listened to all those old wives tales and with the heartbeats being lower, thats my guess. Ryan thinks girl! We will find out very soon though. After much discussion, we have decided to find out if we are having a boy or girl....Ryan has been very convincing! We just made the appointment for the big level 2 ultrasound for Feb. 3rd! So, in just a few short weeks you all will know! We are both looking forward to seeing the baby and making sure everything looks good. Since the pregnancy is high risk, we have to do the level 2 ultrasound which looks more closely at everything. I'm sure it will all be perfect :)
